As we have done at past elections, most recently in 2022, Equality Tasmania is surveying all candidates for council, mayor and deputy mayor positions, so Tasmanians can be informed about where candidates stand on LGBTIQA+ equality and inclusion.

A few things to know:

• It takes about 3 minutes — shorter than in 2022.
• All questions are optional or include an “I’m not sure” option.
• Results are published on the Equality Tasmania website during the election period, with a final report after polls close.
• Your responses will only be published with your consent, and you can indicate anything you’d prefer kept private.
